Down the sand paved street to the beach I shuffle along
I am overly concerned with the sun
This thing that burns, and freckles my skin with miniature
Continents that no one will ever live upon
I feel tired and slow
I am ahead of my friend
I strip to my suit and enter the water;
Suddenly like a gift from Poseidon I float
I bounce, I'm cradled in the waves
She soon joins me with her white rocking horse and a hat to match
Like ladies at lunch we talk and bob, talk and bob
A stroke here, a dead fish way over there
Cool currents brought to our legs by boats traversing by
"Saragossa" we blurt at the same time!
I feel happy
Tired and
Slowed
I am overly concerned with the sun
This thing that burns, and freckles my skin with miniature
Continents that no one will ever live upon
I feel tired and slow
I am ahead of my friend
I strip to my suit and enter the water;
Tired and
Slowed
